Haier Biomedical × RAM Group: Pioneering Smart Healthcare in Southeast Asia

Under the dual waves of deepening global trade liberalization and accelerating healthcare infrastructure development, Chinese medical technology enterprises are making their mark on the global stage with a dual emphasis on technological innovation and localized market cultivation — writing a distinctly "Chinese solution" for the world.

On August 19th, Haier Biomedical, a subsidiary of Incaier, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Group (RAM), one of Thailand's three largest private hospital groups. The two parties will engage in deep collaboration across pharmacy automation, smart healthcare full-scenario solutions, and related fields.

This alliance of "technical solutions + localized services" not only marks another fruitful milestone for Haier Biomedical's "one country, one strategy" overseas expansion in the Southeast Asian market, but also represents a pivotal step in its broader evolution — from pure "product export" toward "ecosystem co-construction."

Southeast Asia, with its population base of 670 million, an elderly population growing at over 10% annually, and rapid economic expansion, is fast emerging as one of the world's most promising incremental markets for the healthcare industry. As a regional medical hub, Thailand boasts a mature healthcare service system and a thriving medical tourism market, yet faces urgent demand for upgrades in pharmacy automation and intelligent medical equipment — presenting Chinese medical technology enterprises with a golden strategic window of entry.

Haier Biomedical, a life science and medical innovation digital scenario solution provider under Incaier (part of the Haier Group), has built deep technological expertise and localized operational experience across cold storage, laboratory solutions, smart medication management, and blood technology. Its products and solutions now reach over 150 countries and regions worldwide. Its core competitive advantage lies in addressing the differentiated demands of diverse regional healthcare markets through "customized technology + localized operations" — from its globally leading position in medical cold storage equipment to the rapid expansion of laboratory instruments and consumable solutions — forming a product matrix adaptable to global markets.

RAM Group, Thailand's second-largest private hospital group, operates 50 hospitals with 7,800 beds, committed to delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare to communities through the country's largest hospital network. RAM's urgent need for healthcare automation upgrades aligns perfectly with Haier Biomedical's technological capabilities and localized resources.

Under the agreement, the two parties will pilot pharmacy automation solutions as a priority, covering outpatient pharmacy (OPD) automation systems and intelligent inventory management modules, while developing integrated workflows and analytical tools to achieve end-to-end intelligent management across the full cycle of drug storage, transfer, dispensing, distribution, and administration. This collaboration will directly benefit both Thai residents and international medical tourists, injecting a dual guarantee of "efficiency and safety" into regional healthcare services.

According to the plan, RAM Group will progressively adopt Incaier's full range of products and solutions, spanning life sciences, medical innovation, medical devices, and cell technology. Looking ahead, the coverage extending from single scenarios to the entire healthcare chain signals that Haier Biomedical is poised to make a defining leap in the Southeast Asian market — from "single breakthrough" to "ecosystem co-construction."
